Bernie is a lap dog who requires a lot of attention, and he could get jealous if another dog or child is in the picture. He isn't fond of toys, but he LOVES blankets. He has been abused before, and because of that, he has a lot of phobias. He is fully housebroken, and except for constipation (a diet including canned pumpkin helps with the constipation) he is healthy otherwise and current on all shots. He is ok with other dogs as long as they are low energy. He would likely be scared of cats, kids, and high energy dogs. He would do best in a home without kids or other pets and can devote a lot of attention to him. He could also do well with other low energy dogs, but would need someone who is experienced in managing jealousy in dogs.
