Thank you for your interest in adopting a DREAM pet! The adoption process includes four steps: an adoption application, an adoption agreement, a home check, and an adoption fee.

Step 1: Adoption Application In order to start the adoption process, please click on an image below to begin either a cat or dog application. After the Adoption Application has been completed, then proceed to Step #2. We look forward to making your DREAMs come true!

Step 2: Adoption Agreement After you have completed Step #1, please fill out the Adoption Agreement Form, found here. The Adoption Agreement Form simply tells us that you are committed to the animal of your choosing.

Step 3: Home Check This involves coming to your home and making sure it is safe for your new feline or canine companion. It doesn't take very long, and often times if the home check is successful, then the cat or dog can be left with you that day. After reviewing your Adoption Application, we will contact you to schedule a time to complete your home check and will do all we can to make it at the most convenient time for you.

Step 4: Adoption Donation The adoption fees are listed below, and as a registered charity, the donation to Dream may be tax deductible. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, they are microchipped, have been spayed or neutered, as well as treated for fleas and internal parasites. Your adoption donation makes all of this possible! Thank you.

Adoption Fees

Dogs:
$350 for puppies up to 1 year
$300 for 1-4 years
$250 for over 4 years
Cats:
$200 for kittens up to 1 year
$175 for cats over 1 year

A note about the process ...DREAM cats and dogs have been lovingly cared for in our foster homes, and sometimes have been rescued from traumatic situations or faced severe health issues. All of them have needed love and attention from the DREAM team to ensure they became happy, healthy, and well-adjusted animals. We care very much about each and every one of them, and want to do everything we can to ensure they are placed in amazing homes. Please understand that the application and home check are not meant to be intrusive, but are intended to find the best match possible for both people and pets.
