Bijou is a sweet high energy Manchester terrier mix. She was found as a stray and left in a high kill shelter, where her owner did not return to claim her. When she was found, she was still lactating, which meant she had recently gave birth to puppies, however, none came into the shelter with her.

She is approximately 2 years old and is extremely affectionate. She is a jumper and is able to jump up 4 ft and will need a secure fenced in home. Her ideal family would have another dog to keep her company and be able to take her on walks and hikes whenever possible to help her get her exercise. She has a very healthy appetite and is a happy girl. She loves being around her people so she would do well with someone who works from home, where someone is home most of the day, or be able to take her to doggy daycare where she can spend her day with other dogs. 

Bijou is true to the Manchester terrier traits and would excel at agility and obstacle courses.
