Nala is a very loving and independent 5 ½ year old declawed, micro-chipped, and spayed female cat who loves to play! She has the energy of a kitten at times but also loves to take lots of naps on the very top of her kitty tree.  She loves to play in bags and boxes and loves to chase her toy mice across the floor and will even occasionally play fetch and bring the mouse back to you waiting for you to throw it again.  While she loves a lot of attention, she hates to be picked up but will on her terms come sit on your lap if you lay a blanket out.  She loves to look outdoors and wishes she can be outdoors but since she is declawed, she has to stay indoors.  She loves to meow at the birds outside too!  Nala has always lived with her brother Simba but would work very well as an independent kitty. She loves people, but is deathly afraid of toddlers and little kids so she needs a home with older kids or adults.  While it takes her longer to adapt to change like coming back from the vet, she is always back to her old self after a few days or so.  She is very loving and will meet you at the front door almost every time you walk in and say “meow.”
