Hi, I'm Monte!  I am a sweet and affectionate boy who had a rough start to life when I was rescued from the shelter with my brother, Lance.  I was very sick and it took a while and a lot of love from my fosters to help me get well.  Now I am about 11 months old (as of June 17, 2013), healthy, and perfectly house trained.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE dogs!  I had a 90 lb dog friend in my foster home and I loved to groom and play with him.  I would be great with kids as well.  I am a very even-tempered kitty with excellent house manners and a lot of love to give.

 I need to be an only kitty as I have tested positive for FeLV. My rescue family believes I may just be a carrier as I am very healthy!
