Gemma Star is a 12 year old senior sweet heart. She was brought to the shelter by a good samaritan who found her in a nearby field. Gemma Star is extremely loving, vocal, and active when anyone walks into the room.  She loves to rub up against the hands, feet, elbows, and really any part of her human (sometimes literally running circles around them).  Gemma will also happily accept being placed into a lap for more direct snuggling, and is an extremely accomplished biscuit maker.  Her favorite thing to do, however, is simply to eat.  In two months she has gained about 60% of her body weight, and still has a fair bit more mass to cultivate. She is so grateful she is no longer on the streets & safe with DREAM. She also has surgery to remove 17 teeth.
