Hi Feline Fans,

My name is Gable.  No, not like Clark Gable, although I am as handsome as he was, like the gables on a roof.  I was rescued from a rooftop with my siblings when I was just over 3 weeks old.  My mom had put us all there to keep us safe from ground level predators.  Thankfully, a caring man saw us and came to our rescue before I had a chance to fall off.  Hence my name is Gable, like the gables on the roof where I was found.

I am a feisty, playful kitten.  I have lots of energy and love to rough house with my siblings and with my foster.  I pounce on just about anything that moves, a toy mouse, a ball, or even your fingers!!  I’m not aggressive.  I’m just very full of fun.  I also love to climb on the sofa or on my kitten-sized cat trees.  I dash around the floor so fast that sometimes I slide into the furniture on my way around the corner!  

When I’m not dashing around, I do like to be held and to snuggle with you.  I purr the moment you pick me up to let you know how happy I am.  I am looking for an active home where I will have lots of opportunities for play.  That can be with you, with another kitty, or even just with a variety of toys, boxes, and paper bags.  I love all the kitties at my foster home and get along just fine with the dog too.
