My name is Cherrish. I am fostered with young kids, a dog, and my foster brother Nutter Butters. I love to play with Nutter Butters & chase nerf bullets. I am a very lucky kitten. I was standing on a busy boulevard full of cars when I was found. I didn’t know where to go, so when my rescuer approached me, I ran up into an engine compartment. Thankfully that car was parked and not hot. My rescuer managed to get me out of the engine compartment and into a rescue.
I had never been around humans before but quickly learned that they can be very kind and sweet. I have now been around humans for a few weeks and once I get to know you I am a big purring fur ball. I love to be pet and stroked. I am a little shy when you first meet me, but I warm up in just a few days.
I am very playful and enjoyed frolicking with the other foster kitties at my house. I like to climb up and down all the cat trees. I also enjoy playing with little mice and jingling balls. Plastic coils are my favorite! I will bat them around for a long time.
Will you provide me a cozy, loving new home? Will you be patient with me and allow me to get to know you so I can have a happy home forever? My life got off to a very rough start, so I’m hoping the rest of it will be smooth sailing!
