Dear Potential Forever Family,

My name is Jujube (or Juju for short) and I am a really sweet boy looking for a family to give me lots and lots of love! I am an instant purr kitty that enjoys endless fuss and a warm body to snuggle up to at night.

When I came to my current foster home all I wanted was constant petting and attention. Now I’ve settled in I’ve also started playing. I love to swat at the balls that go around and around in a track, and I also love wand toys (although I really prefer the stick and string to the toy at the end). I am pretty good at kitty aerial acrobatics too when I’m playing. I have a lot of fun when someone hides the toy wand under my bed and pokes it out so I can pounce on it, or when the wand is moved really quickly around the room so I can chase it. No matter how hard I’m playing though, I will stop and take a fuss at any point. I am not joking when I say I love to be fussed! I am happy for a massage pretty much anywhere, including my belly, or snuggling in human arms or a lap.

Another activity I enjoy is exploring. My favorite time of the day is when the kids in my foster home leave their bedroom door open by accident (I stay mostly in their room), because then I can go check out other rooms in their house. I purr instantly when I meet my foster family’s cat, and we love to make chirping noises to each other and wrestle (my foster family was surprised as usually their cat is wary of other foster kitties and will run away from them. So I think that makes me extra special!). My foster family also have two small dogs that I’m not scared of, but I’m still getting used to them because they bark a lot and really want to get close and lick me. So I just sniff them out and walk away. I think I’d be ok with other dogs as well with proper introduction.

I am a really gentle boy so I would be good in a family with kids if they can respect my quiet petting and purr time which makes me so happy, and of course a little play time too. I settled in really quickly at my current foster family’s home even though they have a fairly busy house. I would be happy as a lap kitty in a quiet home too. I just enjoy a lot of attention.
