Splash has some cute markings and was named after them, although it turns out he is living up to his name as he LOVES water! He has a super fun personality to go along with his gorgeous face. Here is what he has to say about himself:

I can be shy at first but I warm up quickly and I really enjoying playing with the kids in my foster home (I’ve tried playing with their dog too, but she’s not too interested unfortunately). I am a very curious cat and love attention - I like to follow my foster family around the house to check out what they are doing and help them explore. It also means I am ready to play and take advantage of any snack opportunities (I really, really love my food). I like to talk too - my foster family think I have a cute meow that sounds like “hello” when I’m trying to get their attention! My favorite kind of play time is rolling around in spaces like boxes and bags, and also swatting at my toys trying to catch them. I also like to swat at any running faucet if given the chance (and the toilet water if I’m lucky enough that the toilet seat has been left up)! Sometimes my curiosity can get a bit messy, like when I decided to explore the fireplace after it was turned off and ended up being covered in black marks! Luckily I didn't mind being showered so I am nice and clean now! I am also good at printing blank pages for my foster family when I jump onto their printer for my sunning sessions, jumping up to really high places and playing peek-a-boo, and opening up any cat treat bags that may be lying around. I’ve heard my foster family call me a “goof ball” sometimes, but they seem to be entertained by all my adventures so it must be a good thing! I like to curl up for my naps near my foster family, including their dog, and sometimes I’ll settle on their lap too for a fuss. I also really like sleeping in the dog bed, especially when the fire is on. I am really affectionate and will approach you with a loud purr or meow, and give you lots of rubs with my head, when I want a fuss or food! I even like being cradled like a baby, especially if I get rubbed behind the ears and on my cheeks too. I respond to my name, as well as any other words or noises associated with food! For example, when the dog in my foster family goes out last thing at night she gets a treat afterwards. So when she’s called I rush to the dog door too, and when she comes back in I follow her to the kitchen so I can get a treat as well. I am good with other cats, but I would do better with playful ones because I like to chase and roll around with them which not all cats like I am finding out (not sure why?!). So if you are looking for a fun, active cat with lots of character then I am the perfect furry companion for you!
